SUMMER TAX COLLECTIION
Taxpayers may defer their summer property tax if they meet the following criteria:
Payment may be deferred until February 15 (payment must be received on or before February 14 in order to
avoid penalties and interest) for principal residence property owned by a taxpayer who:
  • Has a total gross household income of $40,000 or less for the preceding tax year, and
  • Is totally and permanently disabled, blind, paraplegic, hemiplegic, quadriplegic, or
  • Is an eligible serviceperson, eligible veteran, or eligible widow or widower, or
  • Is at least age 62

Information on the Livingston County Website for well and septic:

The Livingston County Department of Public Health is pleased to announce the availability to search, view and print
well and septic documents from the department's web page.  The following link
http://images.livingstonlive.org/eh/SearchForm.aspx will enable realtor's, builders, well and septic contractors, local
units of government and the general public access to well logs; water sample results; as-built septic tank and drainfield
locations; soil evaluations on existing properties where a building has been completed..etc.  There are multiple search
features including by address; road, owner or contractor name.  The site is very intuitive  and the "help" feature also
assists in simplifying the various search alternatives.  
Both Assessing and Tax information are now available on the Deerfield
Township website. Just click the blue navigation button labeled "BSA
Assessing and Tax" above. You will be required to create an online account
with BSA Internet Services for access to their website. More information is
available once you click the button above.
